It's Cold at the Pole!

We have had lots of fun learning about the polar regions, including what the weather is like and what animals we might find. We have been reading the book 'Immi's Gift' about a little girl who lives in an igloo. We have enjoyed lots of activities including the small world arctic scene with real ice and making our own igloos.

Remembrance Day

We learnt about Remembrance Day when we wear poppies to remember all the soldiers who died fighting in wars. We made some poppies of our own.

Our First School Trip!

It was so exciting to go on our very first school trip to Christ Church. We were so well-behaved while we walked, and we really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful paintings, windows and artefacts in our church. Thank you to all the grown-ups that came to help us.

Children in Need

We supported Children in Need by wearing spotty clothes to school. We learnt about being kind and watched a special show with Mr Tumble and Pudsey Bear.
