Durham's November Blog 2021

In French we have been learning how to greet each other. We wrote a conversation, then we had fund practising our pronunciation. For our 101 afternoon, we also made paper aeroplanes, wrote a question in French on them and launched them. Then our partner collected the plane, responded to the question and relaunched the plane.

In English we have been writing adventure stories. We spent some time learning an adventure story and crating actions for the story, so we could remember the story. We are going to write our own stories based using the vocabulary from the story, 'The Loch'.

Our maths topic has been 'Time'. We have been deciding what we can do in 60 seconds, so that we can understand the duration of time. We had a fun practical lesson finding out how many times we can write our name in 60 seconds, and how many star jumps we can do in 60 seconds.
