18/12/20 - Wells Class

Winter Poetry

 

In Wells' class, we have been looking closely at a variety of wintery and Christmas poems. We focused on a poem called ‘Rap up Warm in Winter’ and our learning focus was rhyming couplets. These are a rhyming pair of successive lines of verse, typically of the same length. Once we created a bank of our own rhyming couplets, we used them to write our own poems.
