14/11/18 - 'S' is for Soldier
As part of our butterfly based on the centenary of World War 1 ending, each class was given a letter of the alphabet to investigate. As Chichester were given the letter 's', we decided to look closely at soldiers. We looked at the weapons used, the horrific conditions of war and what soldiers did to try and protect themselves.
With this in mind, we drew and painted powerful silhouette paintings which showed the loss, hurt and sacrifice soldiers went through. Here are some of our paintings below:
