May 2022

Welcome to our May blog!

We have had lots of fun things going on in May such as, World Bee Day, 1990s decade dance and also the Queen's Jubilee fun day. We hope you enjoy looking at what we've got up to.

Jubilee day

We had an amazing day to celebrate the queens jubilee and we were lucky enough to have visits from many amazing people. We were lucky enough to meet workers from the Navy, Police force and fire fighters. We were also lucky enough to go on three different bouncy castles, we had so much fun celebrating! :)

Design and Technology

In DT, we created our very own bridges to celebrate the queens jubilee. We worked in groups to design them and then make them with paper, glue, masking tape, string and paper plates. We focused on reinforcing our bridges and thinking about which shapes and structures makes them the strongest. Here are some of our amazing designs and bridges.

1990s Dance

For the Queen's Jubilee, we also had a dance workshop. We rehearsed a dance while in our 90s outfits. It was really fun.
