November 2021

Welcome to our November class blog.

We are thrilled to show you what we have been learning this month!

In English we thoroughly enjoyed reading our class text, The Little Hen and the Great War by Jennifer Beck as it linked to Remembrance Day at the beginning of the month.

We wrote letters as the Little Hen reporting to her superior officer explaining her disappearance.

In Maths, we have been using our knowledge of times tables to solve multiplications problems. We used a variety of physical resources including dienes and numicons to help our understanding.

In Science, we have begun learning about humans and other animals. We begun by creating food chains and classifying animals into omnivores, carnivores and herbivores.

We have now begun looking at the human skeletons and have labelled our class skeleton.
