Durham's September Blog 2021

During our first month back at school, we have been learning different subjects that all link to this half term's butterfly, 'Tourist Attraction'

In science we have been learning about how rocks are formed and the rock cycle.

In English we studied the book, 'Jenna and the Troublemaker', and had fun writing reports about what he Troublemaker did.

Our RE lessons linked with our English lessons because they were about Noah and the Ark and how God sent the flood because he was troubled by what the way the people on Earth were behaving.

We have also been having fun in our maths lessons, using lots of different equipment to represent numbers, learn about place value and to add and subtract hundreds, tens and ones
